ANTI-PANIC SESSIONS

Are you newly diagnosed?

Anti-Panic sessions are an opportunity for new celiacs, family members and interested individuals to learn all the do's and don'ts about living with Celiac Disease.
You, your family and friends can learn how to adapt to the gluten free diet.
The sessions are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Linda and her helpers will take you on an imaginary trip through a grocery store. You will be shown a large variety of foods that are available, learn how to check labels, and how to use your kitchen wisely. Information is provided on products considered safe for the gluten-free diet.
This is a fantastic way to learn how to eat well and be healthy on a gluten free diet. So, bring along your family, friends and, of course, your questions.

All sessions are free, but we require that you pre-register by calling 780.485.2949, or by visiting at 212 Capilano Mall, 5004 - 98 Ave., Edmonton AB. The office is open weekdays from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., but phone messages can be left at other times. Please leave your name, phone number, the date you wish to attend and how many will be coming.

We suggest you bring along a digital camera (if you have one) to take pictures of the product labels. It will save you writing down the information.

Reference books and cookbooks will be available - pay by cash or cheque.

WHERE: Hope Lutheran Church, 5104 - 106 Ave. (south side of the river next to Gold Bar Shopping Centre). Please use the east door. Parking is free.

WHEN: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. -  2nd Wednesday of the month.

  • November 11, 2009
  • December 9, 2009

Please pre-register for sessions to ensure a seat and to ensure that we have enough information handouts available. You may attend as often as you wish.

The office is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Phone messages (780.485.2949) can be left at other times. Please leave your name and phone number and indicate which sessions you plan to attend and how many will be coming.
